How to win

In Roadtrip Rivals, you will compete against other globetrotters to complete the coolest roadtrip! The coolest roadtrip is determined based on the number of points each player has scored. The player with the most points at the end of the game is the winner. Each game is played on a board, like this example of Europe below. Both here and in game, you can zoom in and drag the board around to study it in detail!
In order to score a lot of points, players have to complete their
Routes . A
Route is a card that lists two places on the board, and a number of points that you get if you complete it. Here's an example:
Completing a
Route is done by placing your vehicle pieces down on the board in such a way that by the end of the game, it is possible to move from one city to the other using only your placed
Vehicles. It doesn't matter whether you completed it in the most efficient way!
All players keep their
Routes hidden until the very end of the game. If you completed a
Route , you will receive its points at the very end of the game. But, be careful! If you fail to complete a
Route , you will instead receive a penalty equal to its number of points.
Try to choose your routes strategically by focusing on
Routes that are easy to combine. Make sure to claim chokepoints on the board early so that you don't get blocked by your rivals!
